The San Diego Convention Center Corporation (SDCCC) is committed to supporting and encouraging sustainable practices, including the hosting of environmentally friendly “green” meetings in our building. Over the past several years, the Corporation has garnered nearly a half-dozen state and city awards for our highly successful conservation and recycling efforts.
Because conservation of energy and natural resources is a top priority, the SDCCC has developed several programs promoting minimal use of materials and natural resources that adversely impact the environment. Outlined below are green programs and practices currently in place at the Convention Center. We invite clients and guests to join in these efforts.
Location The San Diego Convention Center is located downtown along majestic San Diego Bay with the vibrant Gaslamp District and the San Diego Padres' PETCO Park at our doorstep.

DirectionsFrom the airport, it's just a five-minute shuttle ride to the San Diego Convention Center, located right on the harbor in downtown San Diego. From there, everything you need is within walking distance. (And with an average temperature of 72 degrees, walking is the way to go!) Stay in a first-class hotel . Explore the dining and excitement of the Gaslamp Quarter . Stroll the waterfront. Enjoy eclectic shopping . Come for the convention, stay for the vacation.
If you are arriving by plane or train we are conveniently located 3 miles from San Diego International Airport and less than one mile from the Amtrak Station. The San Diego Trolley has two stops directly in front of the Center at Harbor Drive/First Avenue and Harbor Drive/Fifth Avenue.
